Week of 1-25-11

This week our theme will be ‘Dinosaurs’.  The Tuesday kids will make dinosaur masks and dotted dinosaurs.  During the rest of the week we will focus on the letter Dd & number 7.  The children will also make a big dinosaur out of paper plates and decorate their Valentine’s Day cardholders.  You are welcome to send valentines in at any time.
Our field trip to the movie theater will be on Jan. 31st or Feb. 1st.  Please make sure you have sent $3.00 for your child's snack at the theater!

This Week In Pre-K: Week Of 1-17-11

This week our theme was Games & Sportsmanship.  The focus of our week was on taking turns, sharing, participating and being a good sport.  Many of our games incorporated academic skills such as counting, colors, matching, etc...  To finish our week the second grade classes came in to play games with us!  Our letter for the week was Gg and we reviewed the numbers 5 & 6.
Next week our theme will be Dinosaurs.  Remember there is no school on Monday due to Inservice.  The Tuesday kids will be making dinosaur masks and dotted dinosaurs.  During the rest of the week we will focus the letter Dd & number 7.  The children will also make a big dinosaur out of paper plates and decorate their Valentine's Day cardholders.

Week of Jan. 10th

This week in Mrs. Amanda's class we will be learning about Arctic Animals.  We will also learn about the letter Pp and review the numbers 3 & 4.  Our color for the week is blue and we will continue to test/retest as report cards will be sent home at the end of this month!  Please use the link on the left to access our classroom web page and view more information for our class.
