This week our theme was “Games & Sportsmanship”. The focus of our week was on taking turns, sharing, participating and being a good sport. Many of our games incorporated academic skills such as counting, colors, shapes, matching, etc… To finish our week the second grade classes came in to play games with us! Our letter for the week was Gg and our number was 8.
Next week our theme will be “Dinosaurs”. We will be making dinosaur masks and dotted dinosaurs. The children will also watercolor dinosaurs made out of paper plates and participate in centers to learn about sorting, graphing and patterning. We will focus on the letter Dd and the number 9.

*Movie Theater Field Trip: Wednesday, Feb. 3rd OR Thursday, Feb. 4th. Your child will need to bring $3.00 for snack (small popcorn & caffeine free soda) due by Jan. 27th or 28th.
*Early Release Day: Thursday, Feb. 18th.
*No School: Friday, Feb. 19th.
